Ruislip High School, featured on The Inbetweeners, approached us seeking 63 of our Probe 4 Door Lockers to refurbish their school corridors, aligning with their school branding colours.
To facilitate their decision-making progress, we provided a complimentary colour layout chart as requested due to the size of the project, allowing them to visualise their chosen colour combinations before finalising their order. We presented various layout options, including random and uniform patterns, ultimately settling on a simple pattern as per the customer’s preference.
Given the substantial quantity required, we offered the option of nesting the lockers in 2’s or 3’s to optimise cost-efficiency. However, the customer chose individual units to maintain flexibility for potential future relocations. Understanding the user demographic of high school students, the customer opted for mechanical combination locks over traditional turn handle hasp locks, as users have a better memory and more independence.
Installation arrangements were seamlessly integrated into the quotation, with a half-term installation scheduled to ensure minimal disruption during the fixing process. This approach ensured the efficient placement of the lockers without hindrance from ongoing school activities.
